Practice Interview Module 7 and Module 12

Q Prepare for the interview While this interview will be applicable for any job you may interview for in the future, you can use this generic Customer Service Job Description to identify key requirements for the job and identify and prepare potential interview questions that you might be asked if this were a real job interview. (This mimics the preparation you do for a real job in preparing start answers) Please complete the interview checklist prior to your interview. This checklist is excellent preparation (and reminders) of what you need to do to get ready. Please dress in business professional (full suit, tie for men). Q: What happens after the interview? A: You should send a handwritten thank you note, an email, or a LinkedIn note to your interviewer and take a photo/screen shot of the note. This note should show that your thank you note was dated within 2 business days of the interview. Once the interviewer has returned the interview evaluation documentation to Career Services, you will receive an email with your interview notes and evaluation from cobcareers@ecu.edu. Please read the Practice Interview FAQs attached below for a list of questions and answers that you are most likely asking. IF they are not answered in that document, please post a question in the Course Q&A forum. You need to upload the following documents in the assignment: Evaluation form received from COBCareers A copy of the thank you note/email you sent to the interviewer in the assignment A copy of the completed interview prep checklist You should NOT Reschedule your interview directly with the interviewer. IF you must reschedule you must follow the procedures outlined in the Practice Interview FAQs. Failure to follow these procedures will result in a grade penalty Practice Interview FAQsDownload Practice Interview FAQs Practice Interview Checklist--complete prior to interviewDownload Practice Interview Checklist--complete prior to interview SAMPLE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS(1).docDownload SAMPLE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS(1).doc Basic Customer Service Job Description-1.docxDownload Basic Customer Service Job Description-1.docx This is a required assignment to pass the course.
